Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine email lists reside in a secure listserv. Therefore, email addresses are never copied into an email address line for other recipients to see.

Only Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Taalwood Media Services (our Webmaster) have access to view the email addresses of our subscribers.

5) Tell A Friend
Information is collected from the sender and recipient in order to execute the sending of an electronic postcard. However no information is collected or stored on the mail server.

B. Web Activity (Log) Files
We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information. On occasion, Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine log file data (such as the number of subscribers we serve) may be used for promotional purposes. Information that personally identifies you will be kept strictly confidential.

C. Security
This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users' information.  When users submit sensitive information via our Web site, personal information is protected both online and off-line.

We also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a student/client services representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to regain access to your information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices.

D. Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Web site so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under the circumstances, if any, how we disclose it. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

E. Opting In/Opting Out
When subscribing to TSTCM News and Events or sending any inquiry form, you have the ability to opt in or opt out when asked the question, “would you like your email address added to our e-list?” If you opt in, but decide at a later date you no longer wish to receive email from TSTCM, you may opt out by following the instructions on the foot of every email you receive. Alternatively, you may email unsubscribe@tstcm.com and request that your email address be removed. Please allow 72 hours for staff to complete your request.
