1. Integrated Medicine for the diagnosis and treatment of Autoimmune disease and Cancers

This course is one of its kind offered in Canada. It provides TCM professionals and senior TCM students with broader and deeper knowledge and clinical management for the diagnosis and treatments of diseases according to both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It will cover some of the most common diseases in the department of Immunology and Oncology that can be treated effectively using TCM modalities such as Chinese herbal medicine, acupuncture, tuina massage and so on. Disease discusses may include:

Allergies, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, Hyperthyroidism, Cancers of the respiratory system, digestive system, reproductive system and so on. 

2. TCM Classic: Huang Di Nei Jing

The focus of this course is to study the TCM classic Huang Di Nei Jing. The class will be exploring the history and theories of the classic text through various excerpts. Participants will also discuss practical applications of its theories for diagnosis, treatment as well as the prevention of diseases. Upon completion of the course, you are expected to to have a better understanding of the roots of TCM theory as well as how this ancient text continues to be relevant to the modern practice of TCM.
